Carlos Criollo received his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Nariño and his Master of Science in ECE from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, where he was involved in research on modeling and testing of THz emitters. He also participated as a guest scientist in Helmholtz Zentrum – Dresden Rossendorf in Germany, running optical setups for THz spectroscopy. His current research interests include the light-matter interaction in condensed matter physics and ultrafast optics.
