Natsumi Komatsu

Natsumi Komatsu received a B.S. degree in engineering from Keio University in Japan in 2017. She joined Prof. Kono’s lab as a Ph.D. student in the fall of 2017, received an M.S. degree in 2020. Her research interests include developing macroscopically aligned carbon nanotubes and investigating their electrical, thermal, optical, and thermoelectric properties.
She currently serves as a graduate student ambassador as well as a Grad STRIVE liaison. She is an alumna of two TOMODACHI programs, and was invited to the U.S.-Japan Council’s 2018 Japan-Texas Economic Summit and 2019 Annual Conference.
