Wenjing Wu

Ph.D. Program in Applied Physics
Wenjing received her B.S degree in Material Science and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 2018. She earned her M.S from Columbia University in 2020. She worked as Research Staff in Prof. Xiaoyang Zhu’s group at Columbia before joining Penn State as a Ph.D. student working with Prof. Shengxi Huang in Fall 2021.
Wenjing is moving with Prof. Huang to Rice and will be co-advised by Prof. Kono as an Applied Physics graduate student starting Fall 2022. Her research interests focus on the novel optical and electronic properties of two-dimensional materials.
