WIilliam is a Houston local who has returned for PhD studies after completing a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, with a double major in Physics, at Duke University in 2017, where he was first introduced to the study of quantum materials. He joins the team in collaboration with the development of RAMBO-II, and hopes to apply his skills to industry or public sector research after completion of his studies. William is co-advised by Prof. Hanyu Zhu of Materials Science and NanoEngineering.
