Ziqin Yue (Zack) received his B.S. degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University in 2020, where he was involved with research in Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) studies of graphene. He joined the Kono group as an Applied Physics PhD student in late 2020, co-advised by Prof. Ming Yi from the Department of Physics & Astronomy, who specialized in Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES). His current research interest lies in combining magnets with ARPES and also studying magnetism in different materials.
